La stagione dei premi entra nel vivo con le nomination dell’edizione 2020 dei Golden Globes, annunciate da poco. La cerimonia dei 77esimi Golden Globe Awards si terrà il prossimo 5 Gennaio al Beverly Hilton Hotel, la tradizionale cerimonia verrà condotta da Ricky Gervais.
Ricordiamo, come sempre, che questi premi contano più per il valore glamour che per la reale influenza sugli Oscar, in quanto vengono decisi dall’Hollywood Foreign Press Association, un’organizzazione di giornalisti di cinema e tv che lavorano dagli USA sui media esteri e che nulla ha a che fare con l’Academy.
Tuttavia anche quest’anno andranno seguiti con una certa attenzione perché rispetto al passato la data delle premiazioni cade esattamente durante la fase di nomination degli Oscar (che inizierà il 2 Gennaio e si chiuderà il 17, con l’annuncio previsto per il 13 Gennaio), e quindi anche solo per l’impatto mediatico una certa influenza potrebbe esserci.
Non è forse un caso che Green Book, dominatore delle nomination dell’edizione 2019, abbia poi capitalizzato” la cosa portandosi a casa sia il Golden Globe (insieme a Bohemian Rhapsody) sia poi l’Oscar.
